The text in the video is a combination of several different translations of Jonah 2:1-9. I was reading through the Old Testament during a season of video editing this spring when I came across this relatively short, emotionally rich passage characterized by such strong aquatic imagery. The second chapter of Jonah stood out to me as something that could be perfectly translated into a visual project. (The Bible is actually just a literary masterpiece I could spend a lifetime thinking and writing about!)
